TIFFANY LAFLEUR

Tiffany has been fascinated with storytelling for as long as she can remember. Born and raised in Montreal, Tiffany is a lover of animals and art, and although writing is her calling, she sometimes trades in her pen for something a little more colorful and paints or draws instead.

As a natural storyteller, it was fitting that Tiffany would direct her career choice toward journalism and communications and spend her time telling the stories of the people in her community and beyond. The most fun writing for Tiffany is when she gets to share her own worlds and characters with others, and it’s not uncommon to find her tapping away at her latest story, surrounded by concept drawings, maps, and character sketches.

Tiffany is not all work and no play, though. When she’s not working away on her latest project, you can find her with a book in her hand. During the long Canadian winters, this means curling up with a cat to stay warm, and in the summer, it means meticulously applying SPF 90 sunscreen and relaxing by the pool. Wherever she is, though, she always keeps a notebook by her side to write down whatever ideas will pop into her head next.

THE IMAGINATION MACHINE

Oh no! Sam has lost his imagination. When his friend Ophelia finds out, she knows exactly what to do. They will go into her Imagination Machine to find it!  The Imagination Machine by Tiffany Lafleur and illustrated by Christina Pellegrino promotes the power of imagination play and celebrates friends helping friends.
