Patty Hutchison

Patty's happy place is the beach or sitting on the patio in her backyard, planting flowers and watching birds. She also enjoys spending time with her three adorable grandchildren, ages four, six, and ten, who are characters in the CedintheCity kid's adventure series.

Patty developed her passion for travel and writing stories in her adult life after the death of her son, Cedric. She has found it to be a source of healing as she navigates through the journey of grief.

Patty hopes young readers will allow their imaginations to explore the countries highlighted in the CedintheCity book series and inspire them to see the beauty in diversity and cultures all over the world.
