InkWell Publishers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit traditional publisher built on the belief that stories have the power to heal, unite, and shape a better future.
Reimagining publishing โ challenging traditional norms to amplify diverse voices and serve storytellers and readers better.
InkWell Publishers was founded in Atlanta, Georgia in 2020 with a simple but profound belief: stories have the transformative power to heal, unite, and foster meaningful conversations that can shape a better future.
We believe diverse stories deserve a real home โ one with the infrastructure, investment, and intentionality of traditional publishing behind them.
In 2023, InkWell received its 501(c)(3) federal recognition as a nonprofit organization. That status reflects what we've always been โ a mission-driven organization. Every book we publish, every school we visit, every program we run is in service of that mission.
We are committed to reimagining the publishing experience and creating a platform for talented storytellers to thrive.
With passion and purpose, let's write a brighter tomorrow โ one story at a time.
These aren't words on a wall. They're the principles that guide every publishing decision we make.
We publish books that have something to say โ stories that heal, challenge, unite, or spark meaningful conversation.
We actively seek the perspectives that traditional publishing has overlooked. Representation isn't a checkbox โ it's the mission.
We invest in our authors the way a traditional publisher should. Your success is our success โ always.
As a nonprofit, every dollar we generate goes back into the mission. We exist to serve โ not to extract.
"With passion and purpose, let's write a brighter tomorrow โ one story at a time."
